This unfortunately will be far shorter than I hoped, but since it would appear that the Greeks are in fact far and away above the Italians in terms of sourcing wifi connections, I seriously hope to be able to bore you all stupid in the non to distant furture with my witterings and a no doubt indecent number of photographs.
Thank you to all who have commented or text, I am touched (not in the head as perhaps some would have you believe). A big thank you to Stu and Kelly, not just for inviting me to their wedding which was a gloriously wonderful day, allowing me to annoy the ears of the guests in the evening under the pretence of dj'ing, but most of all for allowing me to take them to dinner in Cecina whilst on their honeymoon in Tuscany. Quite a strange thing to be at a wedding in England at the tail of one week and then sat at a table with those wed the next week in Italy.
The happy couple whose future together promises to be as bright and lasting as the brightest of stars I have seen in the open night sky
So now you know that I haven't driven into an abyss never to dull your senses again, but have in fact landed in the midst of industrial action in Greece resulting in the virtually nil supply of petrol for the past three days, coupled a little earlier with a rear tyre delaminating whilst on the motorway (i'll use such terminology so as to not to set the worriers amongst you ill at ease) my progress has been somewhat stifled.
So until tomorrow when I fully expect to be able to clog this place beyond reproach, take good care one and all.

Hello, I'm posting a comment to evidence the fact that I've read your blog! I am a bit retarded when it comes to IT and am having problems getting the text and pictures to display in a logical order - is this just me?? DRIVE SAFELY (if you can) love Rose x
